We're Hiring!

Director of R&D - Computational Biology

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated computational biologist with microbiome expertise to join our team as the Director of R&D. The position offers significant flexibility to get involved in a variety of R&D objectives. We are looking for a candidate with substantial interest in our mission as well as the entrepreneurial environment.

You will draw upon your demonstrated proficiency in microbiome informatics and data science to further develop and refine our computational technologies to model and analyze the interactions between therapeutics and the gut microbiome. Your work will specifically involve developing/refining workflows for analysis of microbiome  data (e.g. metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, etc.) and integration of this data into our core technology to predict individual-specific interaction of drugs with the gut microbiome. Additionally, you will develop/improve different machine learning models for microbiome-drug interactions. Nexilico is closely working with multiple academic and industrial teams and therefore you will be in close contact with our collaborators and partners as well. You will join the Nexilico executive team and will be relied upon to put forth your evidence based and well-reasoned recommendations for roadmap milestones.
